Ayyyyy! The Fonz celebrates birthday number 61 today! 10+ years as Arthur Fonzarelli, and many years working behind the camera, that's Henry Winkler. I'm sure we'll see plenty more in upcoming weeks from the Fonz, especially as far as TV appearances and feature films are concerned. On that note, I'm now thinking about that episode of Happy Days from around 1981, when Fonzie becomes a little overly ambitious about his motorcycle that he doesn't realize he needs to replace it because it's old. This was prior to Fonzie's birthday. Before he wipes out on his old motorcycle, Marion arrive at Arnold's to remind Al about Fonzie's birthday party. After Fonzie is treated for minor scrapes at the hospital after he wiped out on his old motorcycle, Roger once again reminds his his bike is done for and he needs to get it replaced. Chachi, Joanie and Jenny sneak into Fonzie's apartment, intending to get the shoebox with Fonzie's money in it to get him a new motorcycle. Fonzie thinks Al's new busboy, Billy, stole his money from his apartment above the Cunningham's garage. Well, Fonzie was only half-right- Billy stole money, but not from Fonzie as he went after him. He finds out Billy stole from Al as Arnold's was robbed earlier, and Fonzie, although he didn't realize it at first, got Al's money back to him. At the same time, Chachi, Joanie and Jenny confess to going into Fonzie's apartment and taking his money to get him a new motorcycle, which they would soon unveil at his birthday party. Fonzie now knows his money paid for his new motorcycle, and he's gotten Al's money back to him after Billy robbed Arnold's earlier. When the gang tries to explain everything to Howard, he's a little flabbergasted with all the events that transpired and in the order they happened. Afterwards, Fonzie enjoys his birthday party and his new motorcycle. That was a good episode of Happy Days, but in the meantime, Happy 61st Birthday, Fonzie!
