Knew this would happen this morning when I found out they were starting Ben. KNEW IT.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

(And I don't even LIKE the Raiders that MUCH)

Did the Raiders even have 100 yards of offense? Ben killed the Steelers.

Why didn't they put Charlie Batch in there when Ben was struggling so much?

Because Cowher's too proud to admit his prize QB just doesn't have it, and that Pittsburgh needed a replacement.

What I admired in the Texans today (the 1 PM game here was Texans/Titans) in their defeat was the Texans coach realised Carr wasn't helping the team, in fact was probably hurting it, so he benched him for the backup, and the team not only came back, but almost won too - they just ran out of clock. (of course, if it weren't for all the fumbles, Houston would have won anyway)

Is that why Sage played, I was wondering.

Basically, Carr was performing VERY poorly. So the Texans coach, whose name escapes me, played Sage. And honestly, he impressed me quite a bit. The ONLY nitpick I had of his entire stint was NOT going for a play before the 2 minute warning. Other than that, I thought he did QUITE well.

It is a shame, they had a chance and they blew it.

Carr has one of the best QB ratings in the league.

It wasn't entirely his fault for how the team was playing for the majority of the game. The offensive line needs to learn how to block.

The Raiders managed to get a whopping 98 yards, 81 passing, 17 rushing!

The Steelers had the ball 35:30 the Raiders only 24:30... of course, when the defense scores your TDs, guess you don't need to keep the offense on the field that much...

The Steelers gained 360 yards, 89 rushing, 271 passing...

Raiders had 5 sacks, the Steelers had 6

It's Time for Ben to be benched.

It's Time for Ben to be benched. If he keeps throwing TDs to the other team yea it's time for him to sit on the bench awhile. The only good thing is he accepted all the blame for the losses they have had, so he knows he has to play better.

Ben doesn't need benched. Batch won't do much better if any better. The rest of the team hasn't played well, either. Fumbling the ball in prime situations really killed the game for the Steelers.

It doesn't matter if he is benched now because the Steelers season is oVERI can agree with that. The worst defending Super Bowl champs i've ever seen.
