I just read on the FOX website that Studio 60 is about to be canceled by NBC. Apparently the low ratings are the culprit.
ANyone know the real deal? Here's the link to the story

BTW I totally disagree with the authors assesment of "Studio 60." It is the best thing on NBC's new lineup.

If this is true, it makes me sad and a little angry. It's by far the best new show I've seen this year, but audiences apparently don't like anything that they have to pay close attention to for a full hour. I've seen people on other message boards complaining (or, more accurately, whining) that it's just too hard to watch, that the people on it talk too much and that nothing ever happens. I guess if actual thought is required and no one gets brutalized and nothing blows up, then a show is deemed just too boring for prime time network TV. It's sad and frustrating, but I guess we get what we ask for. Too bad most of us seem to be asking for crap.

It this is true, then it's a shame... they should give the show a chance to find an audience...
