be released on DVD? At the end when jack is in bed with Vicky and finds out Mr. Bradford is the new Ladlord, the Three's a Crowd Logo appears like it did on ABC. So a TC fan who never seen TAC would be curious to see the show. I think TAC defintely has tocome out on DVD now because of the Logo

I would think it should have been on the DVD because that was part of the episode (Three's Company Finale).

It doesn't matter. The DVD sets are to sell unedited episodes as they originally aired, not syndicated edits. Yes, it's odd that they would NOT sell Three's a Crowd as a DVD set (the decision NOT to sell it hasn't been made final though!) since it's mentioned on the Season 8 Three's Company set, but that doesn't obligate them in having to release it.

Anyone who is buying the 8th Season knows the story behind the spin-off. Anyone who doesn't wouldn't most likely have invested in buying all 8 seasons, no? And if by chance they did, they can just read up on the spin-off either on the set itself or by going online. So I highly doubt any confusion would result from simply having the logo for the spin-off appear. Maybe in your world, but not in everyone else's.

But no matter, the logo for the spin-off had to be there since it appeared there originally, even if it never sees release. These are NOT syndicated edits on the DVDs, but originally aired episodes. End of story. Don't make another debate about this please.

Also, there is an effort in trying to get the show released. Go here for the info:

Ed i didn't say i would cause confusion, I said that since it's shown they should just go ahead and allow the fans to see the 9th season of Three's Company

It was shown in syndication at one time.

I stand corrected. It just sounded as if the fact that the logo appeared meant that you thought they were obligated to release it. Hey, I hope you're right and we get the release. I want both spin-offs, as everyone well knows.

Did you happen to click on the link for info on emailing DLT & Anchor Bay about the spin-offs? Maybe you already have, but if not, I hope we can count on you. Every vote counts dude!

Ed :)

It needs to be there to keep the episode unedited. I would be more upset if they didn't have it. However, seeing that, it does make me want to own "Three's a Crowd." And now more than before, I won't feel like my Jack Tripper collection is complete until I have TAC on DVD.

In my opinion, it was very rude of the producers to use the last five minutes or so of the Three's Company finale to show pretty much a five minute episode of Three's a Crowd. But I guess they figured no one would tune in if they didn't use that time to show what's next for Jack Tripper.

They really could end the e when the Trio leave the APT in syndication because all the other scenes does is set up Three's a Crowd
