I wanted to share something with my online friends that were first on the original Honeymooners board over at John's site, and now on here. As some of you know, I asked my girlfriend to marry me last year at Paul McCartney's concert in Detroit on October 14, 2005, by making a sign and someone passing it upfront. Paul read the sign aloud and there at the concert I asked and of course Melissa said yes! Anyway, on Amazon.com right now at the address I pasted below is a clip from the upcoming DVD and TV special, and a couple of minutes into it is Paul reading the sign and us getting engaged. I thought some of my friends on here would be interested in seeing that! Just wanted to pass it along!

Thanks for the well wishes! My email was down yesterday for upgrade or something, or I would have emailed instead of posting. The TV special of the film was on last night, but we weren't on it. Maybe on the DVD?

Yep. I remember after you posted the message, there were stories about it all over the internet...but man, you took a HUGE gamble doing that at the concert...what if she would have refused and called you a no-good SOB! :lol:

My back-up plan was I was just going to turn around and hold up the ring and ask "Any takers!?!?!?!?!" Hahahaha, I'm sure out of 20,000 people I could have found a taker! Hahaha!
