I so would have liked to see Florida's night school and her eventually getting that job that she magically got somehow interconnect. That would have been a good storyline showing how her getting a diploma led her to getting that job at the store. I guess they wanted to show the realities of living in the projects, where a lot of families are stuck in that cycle of poverty from generation to generation. Which is why I liked the anniversary in the cabin episode. It took us away from the poverty and just went for some fun and laughs. Seeing them two have a good time together.
