..yes, the Emmys suck..but living on the west coast sucks even more. Ugh..the 'real' show was over even before we get to see the start of it. I know all the winners (thanks to the great people at Zap 2 It). I rrrrreeeaalllyy wanted Jane Kazmaraick to win....Patricia Heaton won last year..did she have to win again? And Sex and the City Winning best comedy!? Well, ok, it is really funny, but I really wouldn've wanted Malcolm in the Middle or Will and Grace to win......*sigh*. OH well....

Being a huge West Wing and Sex and the City fan I rather enjoyed the Emmy's tonight. Martin Sheen winning would've been so cool, but oh well. There were some hilarious moments too. I was more excited about Sex and the City winning then West Wing because I expected WW to, but completely didn't see Sex and the City winning. So, so, so excited!!

I didn't watch them... does anyone know if Peter Pan won anything? It was nominated for choreography, best kid's program, and costumes, I think... so does anyone remember who won those categories?

I don't remember those emmy's being announced last night. There was a ceremony a few weeks ago where they announced the technical and creative emmy's. Try checking the official web site and they could tell you. I did a lot of channel flipping between the emmy's and world series so I could have just missed it.

Yea for Sex and the City and West Wing!!!!!!

That would have been the only reason for me to watch it, that and the Walter Kronkite opening announcement.

Other than that, I don't care to watch a bunch of pre-madonnas patting themselves on the back for a job well done.

They might deserve the awards given to them, but when they make political/hypocritical announcements from the platform of their show (ie - Rosie O'Donnel), then they lose focus of what their program is all about, entertainment, not politics.

Excuse you. Who are you to decide what The Rosie O'Donnell Show is about? Last I checked, she was one of the Executive Producers, she gets to decide what her show is about. She can say whatever she wants about politics because, hey, it's HER show, it's got HER name on it, and she can decide what is on her show, YOU, however, cannot.
