This comes from "Westward Ho, parts 1, 2 & 3":
1. Never comment about the heel's ride- Richie learned that lesson after the gang confronted the vindictive H.R. Buchannon when he threatened to have the law throw everyone off the Kelp dude ranch, thinking the Cunninghams weren't going to pay the ranch's mortgage in time and take over the ranch, himself. After Richie was describing the horns on Buchannon's convertible, his father Howard reminded him they're challenging Buchannon.
2. Never give heels the time of day on anything- Richie and Thunder are talking while riding horses around the lake and admiring its panoramic landscape. Buchannon and his boys show up after signing up for the upcoming rodeo, obviously looking to cause trouble, again. Fonzie arrives and Richie tells him all about Buchannon and his vindictive attempts to take over the Kelp dude ranch. Richie asks the varmints to leave, but Buchannon says he and his boys will leave when they feel like it. Fonzie hoped the varmints will leave and snaps both of his fingers after he says the horses Buchannon and his boys are riding are going to leave. Bye bye, Buchannon, unfortunately, for now!
3. Say cliches that make sense- While announcing the rodeo, Howard had to remind Marion that her "same to you" cliche didn't make any sense after Buchannon boasted about owning the Kelp dude ranch.
4. Be prepared for anything that heels might do- This was certainly the case when Buchannon lit a firecracker and dropped it near the horse carriage Joanie was in. Fonzie, Richie and Thunder went after and intercepted the horse carriage before the frightened horses could carry Joanie too far away, but before that, Fonzie deposited Buchannon in the horse's drinking water.
5. No matter the circumstances, help each other- Fonzie, fed up with Buchannon and against the wishes of the Cunninghams, takes a chance at riding the bull long enough to win $1000 for the Kelp dude ranch. The rest ot the gang chips in enough change to finally save the ranch from falling into the hands of the vindictive Buchannon. And to top it off, after the Cunninghams and the rest of the gang finally paid off the mortgage on the ranch, Buchannon found his bull horn convertible in the bull's pen, and if he was going to get his car out of the pen, he'd have to deal with the same bull that Fonz rode for 8 seconds to help save the ranch. Finally, since it was her uncle Ben she was helping, Marion gets the final word in and says, "So long, sidewinder!" H.R. Buchannon is defeated.
