The last that I checked she was unless something has happened. I talked to Shavar Ross (Dudley) a few years back and got the scoop from him about Dixie Carter. He told me that she was fired 'indirectly' by Gary Coleman. The producers obliged and let her go.

I just want to make it clear so that there is no misunderstanding. She did not set well with Gary. He did not go and "fire her" but it was the producers that gave her the royal axe. Gary was not happy with her and the producers let her go. That is what Shavar Ross meant by "indirectly".:) :wave:
