James"Thunder"Early 10-20-2006, 03:04 PM Since it's getting close to Halloween, I thought this would a good thread
I have two costumes that I liked best:
Professor Ratigan from the Great Mouse Detective
Shan Yu the Hun from Mulan
Karen* 10-20-2006, 03:18 PM My favorite Halloween costumes were in seventh grade as Britney Spears (in her "Baby One More Time" incarnation) and in junior year as a French Maid.
Number 9 Dream 10-20-2006, 07:17 PM I really like the cocktail bunny costume I'm wearing this year :) Previous costumes have been pretty blah :D
swedeace 10-20-2006, 07:24 PM  I was thinking of starting a very similar thread, actually, on my drive back home. I was looking at Halloween accessories at various stores today. I'll do some more this weekend.
I don't know what the best costumes are. I like so many of them.
JoPol_wannabe 10-20-2006, 11:24 PM My favorite costume was when me and my best friend dressed up as an old couple I was the old women and she was the old man. We went to my best friend’s grandma’s house that time and she literally fall to the floor laughing when she saw our costumes.
Janice 10-22-2006, 02:11 PM I was a Playboy bunny once. Another time I was a showgirl. I always went with the sexy costumes.
-*Forever*- 10-22-2006, 02:29 PM I have a picture of it, but people might get offended. Let's say it involved George Bush and me being a Democrat.
But other than that, I was a Pokemon card one year. It was awesome.
Courtnee 10-22-2006, 02:59 PM Milkshake. 3rd grade.
Hollow 10-22-2006, 03:06 PM i was a phone when i was six. seriously...a phone. i had electronic buttons and everything.
i also just made myself look beaten up at eleven.
rusyd 10-22-2006, 03:50 PM One year my friend and I dressed up as Jim and Tammy Faye Baker. It was hysterical!
Jonathan 10-22-2006, 03:59 PM I never liked to dress up. Never did, except for a parade back in Elementary school. They did the parade in the parking lot. I think I played a goblin or ghoul of some kind. I liked doing it, but never dressed up again. pumpkin:
Scoobiedoo30 10-23-2006, 11:53 AM The Foniz from Happy Day's
FOLrocks1 10-23-2006, 02:44 PM Here's a list of all of my Halloween costumes. I'm not sure which on I liked best.
Before school started:
Clown
Bowling Pin (My cousin was the ball)
Wicked Witch of the West
Kindergarden: Vampire
1st Grade: Jason Vorhees (Friday the 13th)
2nd Grade: Scorpion from Mortal Kombat
3rd Grade: Boring 'scary' mask
4th Grade: Maybe a vampire again? I can't remember.
5th Grade: Michael Myers (Halloween)
6th Grade: Zombie
7th Grade: Zombie
8th Grade: Zombie
9th Grade: Zombie
10th Grade: Member of the music group ABBA
11th Grade: Charlie Brown
12th Grade: Don't know yet...
There are more that I'm forgetting I'm sure. I think anytime I make myself up as a zombie it's pretty fun.
swedeace 10-23-2006, 10:30 PM 10th Grade: Member of the music group ABBA
That's pretty cool! Which member of ABBA did you dress up as?
Oooops....I totally misread the thread's question. I thought you meant costumes in general. LOL! Sorry about that....
You mean "my" best costume? Gosh...I dunno.... I would say either Raggedy Ann, a royal jester, clown, or as Linn Berggren from Ace of Base.
crystals 10-24-2006, 12:20 AM Last year for Halloween I dressed up as Robert Kennedy. I even confused some friends of my mother who didn't know who he was and they were in their fifties.
I won a prize at this Halloween party I went to with my mother and a friend of hers. Best politician. I doubt they'll have that category again. That was the most fun I ever had at a Halloween party. Unfortunately, the parties were on the weekends, and now that I'm working I can't attend this year's Halloween party which kind of sucks because I was planning to go as the character Holly Golightly from the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I even bought a tiara for it, but oh well. Maybe some other year in the future.

I was I guess technically Frida. I made her green flowered kimono costumes from 1976 and wore that while carrying a CD Player playing ABBA music. I didn't have a wig or anything I just made Frida's kimono because it had the simplist design lol.

 Hey, that was a creative idea. I did the same thing when I dressed up as Linn Berggren from Ace of Base minus carrying a CD player playing Ace of Base music. Hahaha...I should've done that because I kept getting asked who I was.

KissMyGrits 10-26-2006, 04:04 PM My son is dressing up as a whoopie cushion this year. Don't ask, it's a long story.
This year my friends and I have a theme. We are Snow White and the 7 dwarves 2006 style. My friend is Snow White and let's just say that we have some very creative costumes. I am Sleazy. Last year I was a French Maid.
LuLu Rogers 10-26-2006, 04:30 PM Probably my costume this year. I'm going as Daisy Duck. :D
DOPEY85xxx 10-26-2006, 07:19 PM Grim Reaper seriosly scary

Scoobiedoo30 10-26-2006, 07:26 PM did he get Fired because he scared everybody
JuicyCoutureGirl 10-26-2006, 07:53 PM My top five..
5. Punky Brewster(1985)-That was the best except for my wig was itchy.
4. 50's Sockhop girl(1990)-Got the outfit from a friend's grandmother.
3. Madonna(1989)-How I was allowed to walk out of the house like that, I never know.
2. Scary Spice(1997)-My friends and I dressed up like them for a Halloween party and we won a contest!
1. Hilary Banks(1991)-Already had the clothes, and kind of sort of, the hair.
tdf4077 10-26-2006, 09:47 PM Last year for Halloween I dressed up as Robert Kennedy. I even confused some friends of my mother who didn't know who he was and they were in their fifties.
One of my favorite costumes is my JFK mask! I use it to frighten my students, too.
I really don't remember all my costumes, but some that I do are:
A grey and white bunny
A lamb
A clown (I hated it...clowns scare me)
A dinosaur (stegosaurus to be exact)
A pilgrim
1950's girl (w/poodle skirt and all)
Army girl
Dice (with my friend...i was a black dice w/orange dots and she was the reverse)
My favorite costume of all time, though, was during the OJ Simpson case, my friends showed up at my door trick or treating with paper bags over their heads that simply said "sequestered juror #2" and "sequestered juror #4". It was really quite amusing!
treky 10-27-2006, 04:46 AM once when that show "Murphey Brown" was on; and there was all that controversy about her and then vice president Dan Quale; when he said something about her, my brother and his wife dressed up as them one halloween.
As for me, I don't dress up. That's for kids! And so's halloween!!!
Lamont 10-28-2006, 09:40 PM believe it or not, 1 year i went out as the FONZ
(really dorky i know)
JuicyCoutureGirl 10-28-2006, 09:47 PM The year I dressed up as Punky Brewster the bandana around my knee kept coming undone. It was annoying.
The year I dressed up as a dice it was the regular white dice with black dots.
 Dressing up as Punky has it's setbacks. What I also remember is I had my cousin on my dad's side go as Cherie, my best friend was Marguex, and my other friend Stephan went as Alan. Brandon the dog was none other than my own dog, same breed as Brandon
Crimson and Clover 10-29-2006, 03:04 PM I like this years costume. I made it, Im gonna be a belly dancer.
