Oh yeah. All the time. There are show like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Facts of Life that I am so obsessed with that I sometimes forget that they are nothing more than television shows. I'll forget that Jadzia Dax is only a factional character played by an actress named Terry Farrell. Or that Blair Warner is a made up character played by Lisa Whelchel. When I'm watching Charles In Charge I will forget that the Pembroke kids are not really brothers and sister in real life and that is why they really don't look anything alike. I think everyone here at Sitcoms Online has probably been too obsessed with a certain show at some point. Infact I hear there is some guy here who will not even talk to his own mother if The Jeffersons is on.  ;)

Yeah, I do feel that 'That 70's Show' is as real as any show can get to me. When I watch it, I really don't feel like I'm watching an exaggerated version of real-life--it's as real as if I was watching a group of people I know interact and goof off with one another.

What can I say, I just love that show :)

I do it all the time. It helps if the person you are talking too has the same amount of interest in the show you are discussing. My roommate and i can discuss a favorite show for hours.

Yep. Sometimes I wish my favorite TV shows were on-going season after season airings that would never end. You know, I wonder how the characters would be progressing over the years.
