I thought that the show would pick up as the season continued... they needed to clean up the mess that Amy left behind, and once that was cleaned up, the show could get back on track again. But it looks like that won't happen for the forseeable future. They will lose a whole pile of viewers if Lor and Christopher really elope.

Does this mean that Sherry is not coming back?

I didn't even watch it last night because Lor and Chris were the only ones in the ads. Tell me when he's killed off.

:confused: i seriously don't know what the heck shes going to do i mean the way things seem to be going now i don't think that lor will ever get married at this rate! i mean i like chris i guess but for some weird reason chris always seems to be getting in the way of this all the time i mean i don't if thats just me or not but to be honest i don't want her marring chris i know that hes rorys dad and all but i really,really like luke and hes been there more than he has and i don't think thats very fair but whatever i'm still hopeing i guess luke just can't give up on her like that FIGHT FOR HER LUKE...FIGHT FOR HER!!!

Well, it appears they're really trying to shake things up in the post ASP regime.

I know some of you are going to hate me for saying this (MsO) but at this point in he series I'm just thrilled that Lorelai is finally marrying SOMEONE!

I mean when you think about it, Lorelai has to share some of the responsibility for her crappy tack record with the fellas (not everything was Christopher's or Luke's fault; and Max didn't blow off the wedding) so maybe this might actually be the one relationship that could work!

:) yeah i guess so but....darn it she just can't marry chris she just can't i'm sorry its very very wrong i mean i know nothing as been said about her marrying him but still...lukes good for her i know he is (listen to me talk about it like its all real or something and i just did a poll about this sort of thing too!) but still real or not real i don't want her marrying chris like i said before lukes been there more times than chris has well i'll guess i'll never really be happy until she marries luke!

I can't believe they are making Lorelai and Chris and offical couple I mean they have made us go through about 4 seasons of wanting her and Luke to hook up and then they hook then up what just to break them up and not do anything about it I mean Luke was so into there relationship when they first started. I remember when Luke took Lorelai out on date and he told her this thing there doing he was all in and really loved her how can they just let that go without fighting I know Luke went and punched chris but you think he would try harder and lorelai really loved luke I remember there first break up during the 5th season she was really heart broken she could hardly go on with her life. I know they have a new writer but come on we have gone through so much luke and lorelai stuff we all want them two together they can't put her with someone else it's not right not after all we have gone through. I just hope that the new writer wakes up and notices that this chris and lorelai relationship isn't what the viewers want and put her back with Luke.

yeah!! you go! i counldn't have said that better my self she don't need chris,chris just needs to go away i mean can't they write him out or something?! no i guess not but the harsh realtiy about it is that like it or not he is rorys dad and maybe she'll marry him but you never know i'm not takeing sides or anything but i'm just so worried that she won't marry luke then what?!! she has too right? but lets just be thankful that she still has the ring :) yeah....
