Ok, there was an episode where Shirley was out of town I believe. Laverne and Carmine had a spaghetti dinner at the girls' apartment. They ended up making out and then having a guilt trip abt it.
This bothered me because I always saw Laverne and Shirley respecting each other as far as boyfriends were concerned, so for Laverne to make out with Carmine of all people was really low on her part.

I always sort of liked that one. There was a bit of a 'shippy vibe between Laverne and Carmine, and it was fun to see it played out--complete with nerve wracking guilt on the parts of Laverne and Carmine. Despite all of the flirting and chemistry, it was interesting to see the both of them simultaneously come to the realization that they were better off friends, and the relationship wouldn't have a future.

Although, i could see them getting into a F-buddy relationship in Cali after Shirley split with Dr. Mummy...

There was another episode, I am not sure season one or two. Shirley's boyfriend made a pass at Laverne. The girls agreed they would never allow such a thing to occur again. God, I can see the episode in my head.

I see your point but Carmine and Shirl really weren't together. I think they just liked each other. Carmine was always up at what's her faces apartment and going out of town with her. And Shirl was always dating other men. I think they were just friends with benefits but without the sex part
What man do you know would go out with a woman for that many years and not get any and yet still be happy???
But yeah,Laverne should have kept her lips to herself since she knew Shirls and Carmines history with each other.

That may be, but still, he was Shirl's man and even though they dated others, the girls had made a pact they wouldn't do that to each other (go for the other's guy)...if you look at my post above yours (#4) there I mentioned an episode where they did just that, they made a pact and I am sure that episode played before this one that we are talking abt.

I'm agreeing with you on this  I said in my post that Laverne should have kept her lips to herself. You never go after a guy your friend likes or have dated/sex with.
