Or use the same acting style.
Ok, I love Nicholas Cage. He is awesome and his role in Leaving Las Vegas was just damn awesome. However, I feel that most of his roles are the same. He is loud, abrasive and the victim who overcomes his adversity. He is almost always yelling and his mannerisms seem to be the same no matter what character he plays.
Julia Roberts. I love her too. But at times, that quirkiness seems to penetrate a lot of the roles she plays. In Erin Brockovich, I didn't see it at all. WHICH WAS GREAT. In STEPMOM, it wasn't there either. BUT! in the comedic/dramatic roles, she has this quirkiness that drives me crazy. It's like she is playing her Pretty Woman role everytime.
