When it comes to the Lost Episodes, I've noticed that nobody seems to mention any of the shorter ones as their favorite. So, my question is...out of the shorter sketches (ones that conclude after one scene), which is your favorite? I've provided a list of the shorter sketches below (only those that are easily available at this time) so they aren't confused with any of the longer ones.

"New Bowling Ball" (9/20/52)
"Lost Baby" (10/11/52)
"Quiz Show" (10/18/52)
"The Cold" (11/1/52)
"Pickles" (11/8/52)
"Jelly Beans" (11/22/52)
"Six Months To Live" (12/13/52)
"Glow Worm Cleaning" (1/3/53)
"Alice Plays Cupid" (1/17/53)
"Suspense" (1/24/53)
"Lost Job" (1/31/53)
"Anniversary Gift" (2/21/53)
"Income Tax" (3/7/53)
"Alice's Aunt Ethel" (3/14/53)
"What's Her Name?" (3/21/53)
"Lunchbox" (3/28/53)
"Hot Tips" (4/11/53)
"Norton Moves In" (4/18/53)
"Ralph's Diet" (4/25/53)
"Dinner Guest" (5/2/53)
"Manager Of The Baseball Team" (5/9/53)
"The Prowler" (6/6/53)
"Guest Speaker" (6/13/53)
"Bus Accident" a.k.a. "Sprained Thumb" (9/19/53)
"Lucky Number" (9/26/53)
"Two Tickets To The Fight" (10/24/53)
"Halloween Party" (10/31/53)
"Champagne & Caviar" (11/7/53)
"Finger Man" (11/28/53)
"Lawsuit" (3/27/54)
"What's The Name?" (5/15/54)
"Double Anniversary Party" (10/13/56)
"Check Up" (10/20/56)
"Forgot To Register" (10/27/56)
"Expectant Father" (11/3/56)
"Good Night Sweet Prince" (11/10/56)
"Two-Family Car" (11/17/56)
"Manager Of The Baseball Team" (6/1/57)

Personally, I'd have to go with "Good Night Sweet Prince," with "The Prowler" as a close second.

"Good Night, Sweet Prince" is my favorite of the short lost episodes. I've never seen the "Bowling Ball" skit, as well as "Six Months To Live," either the 1952 or the 1957 version.

I have "The Great Gleason," and when I had the VCR hooked up to the TV I would watch that religiously, but I have never seen the "Sprained Thumb" sketch on there. Is it tacked on to the end of the tape or something? Was it available on early releases of the video, and then later "pressing" it was not included? Just wondering now . . . I may have to get the VCR hooked back up to the new TV now!

I like "What's Her Name?" along with "Two Tickets To The Fight" I haven't seen a lot of those since I don't have all the Lost Episode Collections yet but so far those are my favs!

Interesting about that new collection. Good thing I've only bought 5 of the 24! I hope it'll be worth my while to hold off buying the individual lost episodes single-disc releases.

"Lucky Number" can be found on the Volume 6 set; I just saw it the other day, it was great.

Wow glad you said that I was planning on picking up collections 4&3 today *I started backwards with 5&6.* I hadn't heard of them re-releasing but it sure will be nice to see some other lost episodes as well.

Ooo that would be great! That way it may at least tide me over :D until we see what happens with MPI. Thanks so much!
*By the way* Your Honeymooners site is amazing! I read through all the bloopers & now look to see each one of them. That's one of my favorite parts about the show -looking for the bloopers- Oh & the quizzes I was actually late for one of my clients *I'm a personal trainer* because I was so busy taking those quizzes lol. Okay I'm rambling just had to tell you.
