View Full Version : Is it possible to convert dvd+r to dvd-r? Narnia 10-16-2006, 08:49 PM I am just curious cause I have a dvd recorder, and it won't play dvd+r's. (Assuming the DVD burner on your computer writes to both plus and minus R's but I think any burners purchased in the past two years do this.) You just read from the +R and write to the -R. PS - you can't convert the plus R disc to a minus R disc, tho. Michael Randazzo 10-16-2006, 10:58 PM Yes, I hooked regular DVD player up to a Tivo DVD burner. I Play the +R in the DVD player and Record it to The Tivo DVD burner. I then burn it to -R's. You can do this with Pal stuff to. Thanks and God Bless Michael lordsmurf 10-17-2006, 07:44 AM There's nothing to "convert". Just copy the data off the DVD+R onto the DVD-R. |
