Winnie and my dog Tara got into a fight, a big one. I don't know what happened I was coming in the house and was putting away groceries when I heard growling. I turned around and Tara's eye was out of the socket. We screamed and rushed her to the animal hospital. They thought they could put it back so we sat and waited. They came out and told us they couldn't get it back in so they rushed her to surgery. They are going to try to get it back in but they don't think they can. Even if they get it in, it won't stay there. We just called for an update, she's still in surgery. Winnie is back with her old owner, we drove her right over. Please pray for Tara. We are histerical. Thanks guys.

Thanks guys. Yes, the important thing is she's alive. Even if they didn't get it back in, just as long as she came home is all we cared about. :)

That's such a sad story. I'm glad that Tara made it through surgery okay. The poor little baby.

Oh, that's really terrible. :( Good thing they were able to place her eye in the eye socket, even if she may never get to see again. I agree with others - it's important that she is still alive.

Thank you everyone! Tara is back home. They have stitches keeping her eyelid closed and she gets the stitches out in 2 weeks. Then they'll see if the eye stays. If it does, great. :) They really don't think we'll be able to see, but me and my mom don't care. We'll be her eye! :) We're just so glad to have her home. Bailey missed her so much. She cried all night. Now Bailey is sleeping next to her, trying to make her better. :) Thanks for the prayers!!! Here are pics of Tara coming home. I'll hit enter a couple times for those who don't want to see, but I think she looks absolutely beautiful!:)

Awee I am sooo sorry Kelly about you're dog... Tara, I hope she is doing good and hope the vet can fix her Eye Socket....You have my thought's and prayers with you and you're family and I hope everything goes good with the surgery......:wave:

Hey JO! I didn't know you posted over here. Yes you did brighten up my day with a little Natalie hehe. Tara is doing better. She doesn't seem like the same dog but that's because of all the painkillers she's on. Hopefully those will stop soon and she won't be in any pain. We have to hand feed her and let her drink from a people glass since she can't get into the pet water bowl with her cone, but we don't mind. We're so glad she's with us!:) Thanks again, everyone for the prayers!
