Does anyone know why the final scene in "The Sleepwalker" is in such bad quality? I'd assume the film was damaged somehow, it couldn't have originally aired that way. With the shape it's in, it could almost pass for a lost episode. I know this has been brought up before but I can't recall what the outcome was.

I always thought it looked like footage from the kinescope film in the Electronocam part of the camera!

Seems, looking at the episode, that while most of it used 35mm film, the last scene appeared to be a 16mm-to-35mm transfer.
