I saw Prince on BET's AWARDS SHOW this year, and his performnace blew me away.................................... :( :) That performance made me really happy:( :) ..................... I am happy that he is such an amzing performer, but sad that that performance put him in a better light than I see Michael.....................:( :) I hope noone gets mad at me, but I decided that Prince was a better musician after watching that show than Michael is................... I realized that I don't even really like Michael that much........... If it wasn't for the BAD era, I would barely pay Michael any mind....................

I don't think it's a bad thing to say you like Prince more, it seems MJ's best days are far behind him. He doesn't seem to have made an easy transition into adulthood, because he was always trying to duplicate the success of Thriller. He's more of a "man-child", he's been saddled with this little-boy-trapped-in-man's body stigma for years. For all his money and fame and wealth, he couldn't find a decent psychiatrist to deal with his inner demons (Lisa Marie Presley was a Scientologist, why couldn't he have gotten into that? ;) ). Of course Michael is responsible for his own actions, but it seems he was a child star who was thrust into the spotlight at a very young age and never knew how to deal with it.

Prince, on the other hand, is a consumate musician, composer, producer, and actor. He's been successfully able to reinvent himself practically with every album he's ever made. He's a genius and an excellent performer. Of course in interviews he's actually come off as a little eccentric, too, but he lets the music do the talking. That's the whole point behind art, it enables people to speak in ways that they are otherwise incapable of communicating.
