OK my organizing work is done.
If you look at the feedback section now, I have taken 51 pages, down to 8.
The basic idea is I merged all the good posts/threads/feedback about each person.
So that instead of click on 18 links to see what people have to say about JIE3 you can click on one.
The traders that seem super busy, I have combined and named the thread, under their name. All threads named identical, except for the user name.
And anything from basiclaly 5 feedback or higher they have their own thread.
For the traders that are just starting, and starting to accumulate I will merge them as time goes on no worries.
So don't look and wonder what happened to your feedback its all there. I was able to take the last years worth, and merge them without any hassle, after a year all posts are put in whats called an archive- and if they aren't refreshed or red, they are view only. So you may have had MORE feedback, but what I took was the active threads.
So I did this, to help the community seek and read the threads easier and faster for refrences- we all know the big names, but we have some great new traders that are just up and coming and really, who wants to read though 50 pages to find 2 names.
What can you do to help keep this organized?
3 easy steps.
1 - the biggest and most important is the actual LEAVING of feedback. It really really does matter - bad for obvious reasons
and good, well a lot of people take for granted "everyone just assumes" this well known trader is doing a good job- but new and recent feedback is always a good idea.
And lets face it, a simple thanks is always appreciated.
2-Put the persons name IN the thread title.
There are so many - myself incuded that just put "good trade" and you have to read inside, some people don't like having to open 15 thrads just to see who the mystery trader was.
So lets all make an effort to put their name On the thread. I have been editing ona nd off about 40-60 so far this week to put their name in the thread title
and 3-keep it simple- one person per thread is the best way- But I know people have time constraints so that is my least concern I can always copy or duplicate the thread and put it in each of the users merged thread.
So I hope this helps, its down to 8 pages currently there are some more I can do- and I will tidy up here and there but for the most part its done.
Feel free to use your link, of merged refrences in your web page, trading page or profile and let the trading world know just hot great you are!
I have also taken the BAD traders feedback, merged THOSE and will be adding those as a refrence link to the bad trader list as well.
A work in progress.
Tally Ho, happy trading - I hope the organized list helps with future trading
