Anybody out there know if Miss Loring made more than one appearance on the show?? I know she was on the episode about Barbara cheating on the poetry, but I thought she showed up again later for some reason.

According to imdb.com, Alice Ghostley appeared as Miss Loring in the episode The Ghost Writer in 1977, and in Barbara the Fink in 1978.

Once again a very edited epidode courtesy of Sony and Comcast. Barbara the Fink has a very shortened beginning that starts with the kids running out of Miss Loring's ransacked office. You could tell there was more before that scene.

The first one airs tonight. It has one of my favorite Barbara lines. Watch and see if you can find it.

Alice Ghostley is great. I always enjoy seeing her turn up as a guest on a variety of different shows.

It was cute when she was talking about turtles laying eggs! That was more something Julie would have said because it was off the wall!

Other than that, the two eps tonight were kind of boring I thought! Alice Ghostley is funny, and she was OK in the second ep. so it wasn't 'boring Miss Loring". It was "Boring episode"!

It's:

Ann: Barbara, do you have unspoken resentments against me?
Barbara: No, mom, believe me, they're all spoken.

It doesn't get a huge laugh on the show, but it does in our house.
