I hope they release The Ropers next but I have a feeling they are going to release Three's a Crowd first. TAC lasted only one season, right? I wasnt a fan of the show but will probably pick it up. I really want The Ropers on DVD soon.:)

I doubt if we ever see the Ropers on DVD but there is good chance we Three's a Crowd because it's season 9 of Three's Company without the girls and Furley

I'd settle for Three's a Crowd on DVD but I really want both spin-offs. The Ropers especially had the original trio guest-star for Helen's party and another episode had Larry visiting. If Anchor Bay played their cards right, advertising this point for the set could sell a lot of DVDs of The Ropers. But I'll take Three's a Crowd as well. It wasn't as good as Three's Company, but the completist in me wants it nonetheless.

P.S. If anyone wants to help to get the spin-offs on DVD, visit this post:

It has addresses and names to contact. Hope some of you will pitch in. Thanks!

Robert13, thanks for posting. We're currently trying to alert Anchor Bay and DLT to release the spin-offs, and the only way to do that is if enough people contact them. Info on how to do so is here:

Please, if you want the spin-offs released, then participate in this. It doesn't take much time and the more noise we make, the more likely it'll happen. Right now it seems as if Anchor Bay doesn't consider it a worthy investment since they're unaware of how many potential customers they would have for the spin-offs. Let's band together and rectify this, ok?

Thanks dude!

I would love to see them released and would definitely buy them. I have already e-mailed them to let them know what a great job they did with Three's Company but also how much I would love to see the entire series of both spin-offs released. I think it will happen. Now that they have completed TC, they need a follow-up. Either spin-offs would sell really well as a companion piece to the series they came from. Plus, The Ropers have the episode that airs in syndication with the trio that wasn't included on the TC sets. That alone is worth them releasing it. Let's see if we can get a statement from them soon announcing they are working on it. :)

I emaled both anchor bay and dl.

DL got back to me and here is what they said about putting TAC and the Ropers on DVD:

"Sorry, at this time we have no plans to release this on DVD. Actually, we may not have the rights to this title."

It doesnt look good. =(

I think it would be fun to see TAC on DVD...the show was run in syndication in the Cleveland area under the title Three's Company Too. Whatever happened to Mary Cadorette, anyway?
