I was just wondering, which show did Richard Thomas guest star in, was it 'Bonanza' or 'Ponderosa'. Also, has anyone here seen this episode, I think it's entitled 'The Weary Willies'. Has anyone here yet seen this episode? Also, which season was this episode in? Thanks!:)

I saw the episode when it first aired, a long time ago. The 'weary willies' were like young Civil War vets who became drifters I believe; Richard Thomas played one of them. I don't remember the plot, though.

"The Weary Willies are hippie-like former Civil War veterans who are now drifters and live off the land. Despite protests from fellow ranchers and the people of Virginia City, Ben allows the traveling band to stay at the Ponderosa. The real trouble begins when a teen-aged girl is raped and the Willies are blamed."

Ponderosa and Bonanza were the same (great steakhouses, too).
Ponderosa was what Bonanza reruns were called in syndication while Bonanza was still running on first-run network TV.
Other examples of title altering were Emergency One for Emergency, Robert Young, Family Doctor for Marcus Welby, M.D., Raymond Burr for Ironside, Happy Days Again for Happy Days and many others.
