I know this is kind of a dumb question but I'm just curious so I just asked. Anyway, the one I'm using right now (@home) has The 60's USA and my comp @ school has the scrolling marquee that says I hate Nick at Nite! I get alot of questions and comments about it.

Currently I am using some jungle themed one that came with Windows. But it's a little annoying sometimes because I have random elephant sounds in my room because of it, lol. I switch screen savers once every couple of months, so....

I have an american screensaver with the US Flag waving and all that,,,,

I have Freddie Prinze on one computer http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/heart.gif and the American Flag on another.I switch off and on , I found a great screen saver of the statue of liberty.

lol on my dad's comp (which everyone uses), he put the scrolling marquee that says "this is dad's computer! please don't use it!" its great cause he never gets to go on it cause either me or my mom or my sister is on there. my personal computer has this little guy that says "let me out of here..." its sorta funny i guess.. not really though

Ok you know when you go to properties and screensaver and 3D text? Mine has where you can type what you want or have the clock mine is the time/clock spinning.

My new computer has no fun screensavers on it, so I usually use scrolling marquee. I like to use TV catchphrases. Any ideas?

I am using a clock.. Its set to come on after 10 mins of no activity........ I saw it years ago at this gas station I used to help at and I have had it ever since....

I use Xscreensaver, which allows a person to select from over 200 different schemes, and then rotates through the list of schemes you have enabled. Several of those schemes reference a directory where you can put photographs you've taken yourself, and then the screensaver will display those images on your screen, using a variety of distortion methods.

Yeah, there is a set up menu that includes like 240 different animations,...some of which a pretty cool, some of which are pretty lame. And everytime the screensaver starts it selects a new scheme, at random. You can also set it to auto-rotate through the schemes, changing every x minutes.

So, after you have let it run full spectrum for a few weeks, you get sick of the really lame schemes....and you can go into a menu and disable the ones you don't like.

Out of 240 available, I've got about 80 schemes enabled in the rotation.
