Sorry friend but this has to be the worst episode of Alice I've yet to see. The whole robot thing was just too much. A clear indication that the writers were running out of ideas. Add to that it was an episode without Flo and Alice's hair looked awful. I love Dukes of Hazzard and find the episode where Rosco is replaced with a robot sheriff to be unwatchable as well.

The episode was funny in ways. However, I think in these later seasons they made Mel out to be an almost cartoonish villain. He was never that cruel to the girls on the first seasons. I mean there were times when he was mean, but you could always tell he cared.
