It's all over the net that CBS has "pulled Smith" from the schedual for the time being but it's really been canned, they just have not annoucned that yet.

Remember when other recent CBS shows were "temporarlily pulled" that never returned? Like Threshold, Wolf Lake, Clubhouse, Century City and Dr Vegas? Smith won't be back, at least not on CBS.

Kidnapped will most likely be the next...

Kidnapped has already been axed but the network made a commitment to air 13 episodes of the show. So they have moved the show from Wednesday nights to Saturday nights for the rest of the 13 episodes.

Yeah that really blows. Smith was one of my favorite new shows of the season. I'm really worried about other struggling series like Studio 60, Veronica Mars (who at this point only HAS a 13 episode order), and Supernatural.

I'm loving Studio 60, but I agree, I'm concerned. It's not holding the audience that Heroes is building.

Vanished has been banished to the Friday night slot, a sure sign it will be shown the door soon. I think they're only holding on to see if the show fares a little better with Eddie Cibrian in the lead slot now that Gale Harold's character took a [spoiler alert - highlight the next text if you want to read it, or ignore it if you don't want to be spoiled] barrage of bullets.
