At one time, there were four generations alive in my family. I have a nice old picture of my grandmother, my mother, and my sister holding her baby.

My husband's family has five generations alive in his family now. The oldest being my husband's mother, who is 85....and her great-great grandson, who is two.

Well I guess it is just three. My Maternal Grandparents, my parents, and me and my sister. My paternal grandparents passed away in 1998 and 1999. I have great aunts and great uncles on that side though, but that doesn't count.

Only 3 generations in my family now. My father, My sister and my niece. My Aunt does have a Generational picture up in her house of my Grandmother, Herself, My cousin and her daughter ( my 2nd cousin). But my Grandmother died in 91 and my Aunt is now in ill heath so that's an old picture.

Currently, three. My parents, my siblings, and my nieces and nephew.

Great-grandparents (I'm in the 3rd generation so they are my grandparents), my father, me, and my oldest 2nd cousin.

I'm hoping that side of the family will make it to 5 generations before one or both of my grandparents die. Grandma is in her mid-80's and grandpa is in his early 90's. My oldest 2nd cousin is 18, so it would have to happen in the next five years or so.

Yes, there's a 5th generation in your family (actually your cousin's family, but close enough).

If we're counting the whole family then 4. Some of my cousins have kids, so their kids would be the 4th. I guess I'm 3rd.

Yeah, I think before my dad (having me), most of them were born to mothers in their early 20s. My grandma was 19 when she had my dad, my great grandma was...23 I guess when she had grandma. My dad was 30 when I was born...and I'll be very old probably. :lol:

:lol: My grandma was 18 when she had my oldest uncle. Of course, that was in early 1942, and these things were a LOT more common back then. um, he's 64 years old now. He's a grandpa himself too.

Five on my mom's side. My great grandma, grandma, aunt, cousin, and her son. But then my great grandma died a few years back so only four now. On my dad's side, only 2. My dad and my brother and me. My grandpa died in 1980 and grandma in 1989, so I never met them.

Four. My grandparents, my parents, my sibling, my daughter and nephew.

Only 3 now and at one time 4. I think on my dad's site there might have been 5 but I think my great grandma died just a few years before the first great great grandchild was born.

Then she has her five children (one passed away at the age of 12). One son is married and she has a daughter getting married this summer.

We are not grandparents YET...but I am a step-grandparent to my boyfriend's two granddaughters. They are 8 and 6 years old.

3 Generations. My husband has 4 Generations.

At one time there where 5, but with the passing of my great-grandparents, there are only 4.
