Come holidaytime or early next year, perhaps the greatest of the great competition wars ever waged will be the great videogame console wars. That between Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo. For me, I'm betting Sony will definitely win this one due to major game producers out there supporting Sony with it's far superior tecnology and that Microsoft falling way-way behind. Already, game makers are producing far superior versions for Sony's PS3 that they already had for XBox 360, thus considering the XBox 360 players as mere guinnie-pigs(as these 3rd party game-producers considers the XBox 360 market.) It does stifle me a bit, too, as to how 3rd party companies can be. What do you think about this upcoming game console wars?

I disagree, I think Sony will lose this one big time. The $500 price tag will kill them, not to mention the bad publicity and delays they have already had. Plus Blu-Ray is enough for me not to want one. Well that, and they fact the PS2 was garbage and broke way too often. If I am going to pay $500 for a gaming machine, its going to be a computer. Sorry Sony.
I will be getting a Wii, think about it for the price of a high end PS3 at $599, you can get a Wii and Xbox 360.

The next 7th generation i will get is a xbox 360.
PS3 is just too expensive for me, and i dont think Blu-Ray discs will be around too long.
the Nintendo Wii sounds interesting (i.e. the ability to play N64 games on the Wii), but im not too crazy about using a "remote" as a controller.
