Hi Chris! The episode you mentioned was entitled "Love Is For Sharing". Tom Corbett extends an invitation to stay with the Corbetts to an orphaned Indian boy and Eddie is jealous of the attention his father gives the boy. However, when a family adopts the boy, Eddie misses him.

no I rember that eddie was not jelous at first I rember that the other kid had bad dream and that om touched the other boy using thesame method that he had only done with eddie but Ido not rember how he did he do it I dont rember

Tom gave the orphaned American Indian- boy a "one-er and a two-er", the trademark special way Tom used to 1/2 scoop Eddie up. Eddie would grab Tom's extended bent arm, using it as a support- he would hop up onto Tom's hip while Tom would 1/2 scoop at the same time. The "one-er and two-er " was their special thing.

I think it was just something Tom did out of instinct. Once he realized it bothered Eddie, he explained it to him, and then Eddie understood. It was a lesson in sharing. Hence the title Love is For Sharing.
