1. LAMONT'S ANGELS are NOT helpers to me, and are NOT assistants--- it is a humorous name given to 3 BAD and BANNED traders who all happen to be female

i cannot name them here as that would only cause the moderators and TJ to get hit with 1000 emails over and over and over, obsessively complaining and crying--- BUTTT I can tell u this

the 3 are from, Loudon, TN -- Aiken, SC, and Chicago, IL --- refer to the bad trader list if u want to pinpoint the obvious--- all 3 are STILL active and out there, so watch out!

2. LAMONT'S ANGELS are refered to as such, sarcastically--- a take off on Charlies Angels, except these 3 are not all jiggly and cute and bubbly, and do not solve crimes

I refer to them as such, because when I named names as examples, some of them (or one) would get upset and complain to the higher ups (despite the fact that they are all banned, and in theory, should not be even reading the board or the posts!) ----

My lil devil's are different then Lamont's angel's. We are involved in undercover operations, some on the cover, depending on the weather and if the air conditioner is on or off. Since starting the lil devil's I have had 5 open heart surgeries, 9 balloons, 2 pumps and 14 stents but I'm happy.

Beats getting hit by a truck.

i posted the original post simply to clarify
because i know of 2 people who someone THOUGHT incorrectly was one of LAMONTS ANGELS, so i didnt want rumors and all
and i had gotten about 4 emails from others on it, so i clarified to make it understood to all

i didnt say anything insulting, nothing derogatory at all, and i didnt name names

senor Beavis posted something that was witty and made me laugh, so i commented how amusing his idea was-- so i honestly wasnt beating any dead horses on this one

now if someone happens to go "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" over every little thread that is made, that is not my fault at all, and my suggestion would be to ask the site owner to block the IP address of anyone who reacts that way and refuses to accept a BANNING like an adult, to keep them from reading the site

I have been asked by many to tell the scoop, lowdown on Harvey's lil devil's, so here goes.

Jasmon1, at the club was known for her bubble bath routine. One night they ran out of bubble bath so she did her performance in clear mineral water. It was that night 17 tables and 14 chairs were busted as the male patrons rushed the stage.

Redwhine, at the club was known for her "bumps and grinds". One night she put in a extra bump and a extra grind. Nine mos. later N.Y.C. had a population explosion of 37 percent. Babies were everywhere.

Savage, at the club was known for her wild fan, fan dance. One night the boiler broke and it being the winter,the temperature plummeted to a frosty 23 degrees. Still nine guys were rushed to the hospital from heat exhaustion.

I admit the pic was amusing and probably could be used in reference as Bevis posted. I do not even have a problem with the reference to Lamont's Angels.

You guys know EXACTLY what is going to happen and although it may be easy to insight this person all you are doing is causing more headache for Savage.

I love a good fight but I prefer to pick opponents who can fight back. This issue is damn old and gets dragged up so often.

I respect both of you guys and certainly know that there are others who love to jump on this as well. I agree with you guys probably 80% of the time, disagree 19% but every 1% I get pissed. The issue is old, it was dead months ago but always comes back. Can we leave it dead once and for all?

Get pissed at me , disagree with me that is your perogative. I only want to get the point across, I have tried diplomacy with no result so maybe being and A$$ will drive it home. I try and save this for people I don't like or respect but this issue is really p*ssing me off.

some like brother quinncy are there with numerous different emails

and guess what

it works very well

and when a blocked person tries another email addy

well you add that one to the list and have a sip of ice tea, and wonder what type of bs, that one was about

for sure nothing important


those who get dozens or even hundreds of emails from a certain person --that they dont want to hear from

and......... miss savage even instructed me in the manly art of blocking pms, as well

so unless the unwanted person sends a letter through the postal service, you dont need to see any of it

and i would just write rts on the letter and drop it in the postal box

This is an old dead issue, the only reason it keeps surfacing is beacuase everyone knows it will incite reaction.

Quincy is similar but different , when he gets brought up 90% of the time it is because he has decided to approach someone new and there is questions about him.

The "mystery woman" is not a mystery, everyone knows so why keep it going? .... because a reaction is wanted and you know how well blocking works against this person. They will find a new email, pm, carrier pigeon whatever... So once again everyone here gets to laugh and Savage deals with the aftermath.

I'll put this to rest, on my part..

I went to GOOGLE, and typed in Bad Traders.... I accidentlly clicked the IMAGE link, and thought... Hmmm.... then this cute, dead-on pic of a lavender horse and the black an white bandit, and eye mask, and saw the Red no trade, just scam/steal, lie logo... and I mmediately, immediately, thought of Savage and Lamont... :lol: :lol: ... the trading forums..... then I gleaned over and saw Lamont's Angles' thread..and viola.. :lol:

i'm done..but it will be good, say Lamon, or others here, myelf as well... instead of keep having to repeat over and over their points, gripes, complaints of a certain trader, poster, or scammer..... he can just post the little "bandit pic", and he's good to go... :lol: :lol: :lol: ;) THE PHOTO BELOW IS JUST AS GOOD, AY??? :lol:

Now as far as the "lamonts Angels go" and so on- Yes yes we all know who it is-
And things on the web have a way to getting back to people-

But I would like to address something in my corner-
I can NOT block PM's because I am a moderator here.
And my email program Does NOT block people-

So yes sometimes there IS an aftermath, and I can not just easily escape it.

However, I am more concerned, when you use terms like "lamonts Angels" that some WON"T know who you are talking about, and they will assume, and they will accuse- and they will whisper-
or keep it going as a joke- and quite frankly, it isn't always practical and sometimes it defeats your purpose.

When your posting something- as a warning- it should be brief, and relelvent. Period.

And also take into account that when/if information resrufaces, such as Pam Maples, and so forth, I do update the board-
and or you can always update me or another moderator to make an announcement and keep it brief and relevent.

Sometimes it seems things are brought up, not to show a trader was bad, but that some traders can't let things go.

I agree that people should be aware-
and that is WHY we have - and I put energy and work into good trader lists, and bad traders lists-
That is why we have feedback-
And that is why we have a community.

So sometimes threads like this are a bit overkill.
And lets be honest once more, we wouldn't need a thread to clariify this if a vague refrence wasn't made, or being used time nad time again in the first place.
When you bring something up, someone is almost always going to ask you to explain.
And that is why we have the bad trader list, with a description and reason for all the traders on there.
I think I did a good job on it for that fact alone.
If the users in question aren't being associated with some new scam, some new trade, why are they coming up so often?

yes kim you may not block pms here--thats true enough for a moderator

however

a banned member will not be able to send you a pm,

SINCE THEY ARENT A MEMBER OF THIS BOARD

so thats not an issue


i also still get emails from undesireable folks

so i have another choice

Oh I know some banned members SHOULDN"T write me, but they do.

Sometimes out of anger.
Sometimes out of spite, sometimes hoping for help

90 percent of the time, not a big deal.

But, it depends on if there IS any recourse.

I don't want to bring up names, that would only make things worse- but, in the past there have been times, I have been part of a user getting banned.

There are 3 main reasons they write me.

1-
To ask why, demand a reason-
I usually try to write them first, but sometimes things happen, or I may not even know.
That is the first and usual contact.

2-Asking what can be done, - if anything-
Again, its fine. I will try usually to do what I can- when I can-
to understand the situation.
Many traders who have been banned, things can resolve- and things can go back to the way they were, with each side understanding the other a bit more.

And then there is
3-
To share with me their...grievance- and opinion.

And to this I will not hold my tongue, nor do I think I am invading any privacy.
Wolf11, once being banned, wrote me on one day, 18 times- going as far as to physically threaten me-
Reminding me he had my address.
And it is in those cases, that as Jay was saying, "situations can cause an aftermath for the moderator"
When Wolf11 was originally banned, it had strictly to do with his actions-
and once banned, during the course of the week, each time he was mentioned-
He wrote me- holding me personally responsible to even being discussed.
Was he serious of his threats, I hope not- doesn't seem so.
but it was one very long week- since I admit, being a female- at the time living alone- you really don't want to be on the end, of a random guy you don't know, basically threatening you non stop.

And there have been other angry users, none as angry as he was that week thankfully-
But others that read the site, look for their name and write me, expecting me to do, fix, remove, edit basically their history off a site.
Which I can not do some of the time- as 1-its part of their history/reputation
and 2-- it would be censoring others opinions.
And the fact is, it depends on intention.
But while I do think banned users need to respect they are not PART of this board anymore, I also don't want any user ot think it is a free for all-
Since they are banned, you can say what you want.
It isn't a rule, its just tact.

Most users, are banned for a really really good reason. Some aren't, some things get blown out of proportion, but most.
And even more so, a simple fact MOST banned users-
Try to come back, sucessfully come back until caught again
Have friends of friends, help them to get back on. And if they did not do such actions the fact is they wouldn't be brought up again as often and for that, they need to accept responsibility.

Pam Maples, excellent example.
Pams last email to me was hostile, So was RagstoRiches fan.
I still post when she/they turn up and start scamming again
Becuase reading hostile words is better than reading words of stress or loss for a trader who was used or taken advantage of.
Its a consequence of being a moderator- harsh words.
Pretty much weekly. Someone is upset.
But, I ask myself if the harsh words I got, are due to an action that protected the group
Most often it is.
And when I, and you all have a safer trading environment- to me, its well worth it don't you think.


So I am not saying don't post about banned users or older traders- its gonna come up.
Just ask yourself, why your bringing it up- is it relevent to now-
and is it going to bring help and awareness
or just a sore subject up.

If someone is actually threatening you with physical harm - banned user or otherwise - and you take it serious enough to consider even the remote possibilty that they could be serious, i would look into forwarding that information to the authorities.

Harsh words are not a big deal, threats of physical violence - especially when they make a point of knowing your address, are.

Oh I did, I did.
It was my first crash course into privacy, FCC rules, ISP protection and other such things.

I have since learned ways to protect myself, and as well, what steps need to be taken in scenerios like that, G-Forbid they ever reoccure.

One of those times, I shook my head, saying all this "over a hobby"
