What are some of the worst miscast movie roles that you can think of? There are so many that come to my mind. Roles that definitely didn't fit the actress or actor.

Here are a few that come to mind...

John Wayne as Ghengis Kahn in The Conqueror ('nuff said)

Edward G. Robinson as Dathan in The Ten Commandments (Where's your Messiah Now?)

Leonardo Decaprio as Amsterdam Vallon in The Gangs of New York (Leonardo as a tough Irish rogue? I don't think so)

When actors get older and they're still playing action heroes, that's bad casting. I also saw a movie a while back with Clint Eastwood in a love scene....my husband and I just laughed. He had his shirt off and he looked like he was 80.

Another recent movie with Michael Douglas, and he had two little kids. Then again, he does in real life, lol.

Lucy in "Mame". She acted good, but she sounded bad on most of the songs.

Most definitely. I love Lucille Ball but "Mame" is horrible. That'll probably have to do with the fact that I'm a huge fan of the movie "Auntie Mame". Plus, Bea Arthur is in "Mame" and she sounds bad on her songs, too.

Dedrich Bauer (Oswald on THE DREW CAREY SHOW) as Jethro in THE BEVERLLY HILLBILLIES movie.
Cloris Leachman as Granny in the same movie.

Sean Connery in Highlander.

Why? Because Sean played a Spaniard named Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez, and made no attempt whatsoever to hide his famous Scottish accent.
