I've noticed this before, but watching GA on I tonight I caught the episode about the Christmas tree. It seems like Eddie Albert's voice was dubbed in after the episode was filmed. Maybe he had larengitis when that episode was filmed and they did a voice over later? It's pretty obvious his voice is deeper than the other actors.

nndman1, I'm glad someone else noticed that, too! I always thought his voice was more "sugary sounding" than usual in that episode...I can't really describe it, but it wasn't Eddie's usual voice. I also thought that the acting (speaking-wise) wasn't as good in that episode, so it could very well have been dubbed over.

It makes sense that if Eddie was sick they had to dub his voice over instead of writing him out of the show, since Oliver was one of the two main characters and they couldn't do an Xmas episode without him.

I noticed that as well. I hate when they have to loop in their dialogue, but sometimes it's necessary.

they're talking about the Xmas episode, which was the series only one.
