Well, I was going to pick up Mama's Family S1, but since I got official confirmation (I had suspicions for a long time) that the MF DVD is edited, I am NOT buying it.

So, none for me this week.

Mama's Family: Season 1 (Oh well, its edited. We aren't going to get further seasons if no one buys it.)
The Munsters: Two-Movie Fright Fest

Oh I can't wait to get Mama's Family. I so miss not being able to see this show in my area anymore so am thankful they are finally putting the show on DVD. :)

I was also disappointed that Mama's Family will be edited but I'd rather have it that way than not at all. Plus, like Mister Ed said, if we don't buy it, we don't get future seasons released. I think it's too late now to get Warner to fix the problem with Season One but we could get let them know how disappointed we are. Then, they could label the next seasons as "Completed UNCUT Original" episodes much like Anchor Bay did with the subsequent seasons of Roseanne and that other company did with Season 2 of Cosby Show.

I'll be picking up a copy along with the Munster movie package. :)

I bought "Mama's Family The Complete First Season" today at Best Buy for $19.99. For the record, this is the FIRST time in my life I have ever bought a DVD whether it was a movie or TV show on the day of its release.

That does suck but then again I am use to the edited version from the airings on TBS so dont matter too too much. I just want this show on DVD.

Alot of people decided not to buy this cause of this reason they might now bother with other seasons & I would rather have edited shows then none at all.

same here. I declined to purchase Mama's Family Season 1 as I did with all four seasons of Alf. I will NOT buy edited dvd's as it defeats the purpose of having a show on dvd :rolleyes:
