First of all, thanx to those of you who were wondering abt me and concerned enough to wonder where the hell I was at...LOL

I am here using my daughter's computer, mine is in the shop being fixed. Her keyboard I can use here in her bed, where I am laying.

I came back from my vacation on late Saturday. On Tuesday, I injured my back. I have a back injury from 1998 and just moving a recliner in my living room caused this immense pain in my back. I figured I had just over did it and so forth. However, I was unable to walk, it hurt to breathe and any sort of movement brought forth this excruciating pain. The pain never went away. It was constant. I tried my muscle relaxants, Vicodin and so forth, nothing helped me. After three days in bed, I finally saw my specialist yesterday and he prescribed me this great medicine that has helped with the pain. I am able to walk a little bit and move around better, but the pain is still in my back. He thinks I may have another herniated disc or a torn disc. From the symptoms he is worried enough that I have an MRI scheduled for Monday. It is hard for me to get comfortable so I am just taking it very easy and watching DVD's on t.v.

I just wanted to give you all a heads up on what is going on with me. I enjoyed my great vacation and now this...what a bummer. I hope to be back here soon. Thanx to all of you!!!! Bye.

Irene, I'm so sorry to hear about your back. I remember last year, when my husband ruptured a disc in his back...then had spinal fusion surgery....you were very supportive and told me about your back.

I'm glad the new medication is working for you. My husband had to take Percocets, which helped his pain, but made him act insane.

Take care of yourself. Put that husband and daughters of yours to work. ;)

Hi all my peeps. I am getting ready to leave for my MRI this morning.
THANX TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR POSTS AND YOUR THOUGHTS!!!!! The pain is really really bad but at least I can walk to the bathroom by myself without help, that can get really bothersome being assisted to the bathroom. It makes one feel so helpless. THANX AGAIN ALL!!!!!!!

This sounds crazy and I shouldn't believe in non-sense, but thought I would throw this out here for you all to ponder...on Thursday, we visited the Grand Canyon. It was our first time there. It is HUGE, BEAUTIFUL, BREATHTAKING AND A WONDER. Words cannot describe it. It is something that those who can travel there, should see. Well, while hiking and walking I decided to take a big rock from the Grand Canyon. I collect rocks from places I travel. Anyone seen that movie with Lucille Ball, THE LONG LONG TRAILER???? She collects rocks while traveling...well, that's me! Anyhow, I had made a joke to my family that I shouldn't take the rock because the "Hopi Gods may get mad." Referencing the Hopi Indian Tribes which lived in the canyons many moons ago. Well here it goes...a half-hour after taking that rock and putting it in the SUV, the monsoons started. I was standing at the rim of the canyon while my daughter was filming me and this big roar and thunder came along, next thing I know a bolt of lightening struck behind me, my daughter caught it on film. We screamed and ran to the nearest gift shop where all the other tourists were at. It was pouring HARD. Next thing, it started HAILING. Next thing, the camcorder STOPPED WORKING. We were unable to use it for the remainder of our vacation. It is now in the repair shop. While in the gift shop sitting and waiting for the rains to subside some a lady next to me told me "Don't move!". There was a large spider crawling up my left leg. My husband flicked it off and he killed it. THEN!!! while I was driving our way back to the hotel...BAMBI AND HIS BROTHER AND MOTHER APPEARED IN THE ROADWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran over and killed BAMBI!!!!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( I had swerved and did everything to avoid hitting those three deer, but the one deer decided to run back the opposite way, hence, swerving did no good and I ran over it. I screamed and wanted to help the poor thing. I cried all the way back to the hotel. My daughter also. It was horrible.
On Monday, back home, the computer was giving me problems. My boyfriend took it into the repair shop the same day he took the camcorder to be repaired. Hmmmm......
On Tuesday, I hurt my back.
Yesterday we had to take our 4 year old son to the emergency room.
My sister tells me to mail back that "damn rock!!"
I never heard of any such HOPI CURSE regarding Grand Canyon rocks, it was something I merely stated. The reason I stated it was because of people who are advised not to take any lava rocks from a volcanos in Hawaii or they will have bad luck. Some people have mailed back rocks they took from such places in Hawaii because they had a streak of bad luck.

Ok, being a believer in God and so forth, my faith tells me not to believe such non-sense...I will admit a small part of me is wondering abt this rock. Just curious what you all think abt this?

Ok folks, I am on my way to my MRI...will give you all an update!
