View Full Version : My Trade List
stumpydisks 09-22-2006, 03:34 PM Hello everyone, I'm new to the site, been trading for many years though. I'm not looking for anything specific, I'm a big horror movie fan and I like a lot of weird stuff as well, plus 80s and early 90s TV shows, So if i have something that interests you send me your list and I'm sure I'll find something :)
EDIT: PM For List
T-Greg 09-22-2006, 03:39 PM I would suggest that you remove the porn from your list. There are kids that post here too. Unless you are aware you are dealing with an adult, it could get you in hot water by sending it to a kid.

Yeh, I'll second that. Also, some of your stuff seems a bit questionable. I think I safely say that CHILD ABUSE is not something any of us here are interested in!!!

stumpydisks 09-22-2006, 04:58 PM Well, as far as the porn goes I only send it to adults (yes I check). I don't know what you mean about "child abuse", if you're referring to "Kiddies Watch Out" its a compilation of old educational films that you used to show to kids to try to scare them from trusting strangers or doing drugs or whatever the "lesson" was (the irony is that they're usually highly inaccurate and unintentionally halirious, thus making children dumber instead of teaching them anything), but its hardly child abuse.... but anyway, i'm not going to remove the porn as I believe that adults who wish to see it should have the right to, plus this isn't the only site I trade through so.....
T-Greg 09-22-2006, 05:00 PM How do you check? Asking? How do you know whether I'm 13 or 85 or any age in between?

Fine, then adults can go to another site besides a sitcom trading board. I don't like the idea of having porn traded on this site either. So many other groups I belonged to got ruined by endless porn lists.
(believe me, that was NOT my intention when I started alt.video.tape-trading either :wallbang
stumpydisks 09-22-2006, 05:16 PM I ask, and you can usually tell by there lists. What 12 year old would have saturday morning cartoons from the 80s or sitcoms from before they were born? Most people collect them for nostalgia purposes, something a child wouldn't experiance from those kinds of titles. And besides, Kids can log onto any porn site on the web just by clicking the "yes I am 18 link". But I'm not going to get into a debate here over whether or not porn is morally acceptable or whatever, I'm just here to trade DVD-Rs with ADULTS. Kids would be unreliable to trade with in the first place and probably shouldn't be on here anyway
EDIT: To avoid any problems, I changed my list to PM only, so PM if you would like to see it
tvshowstore 09-22-2006, 05:31 PM "Kiddies Watch Out" in a porn movie list is something "weird"! i'm scared! why don't you try any porn forums? maybe you'll find new friends, and date some girls (real girls, over 18) i think you need it! so your right hand (or r u leftie?!) will R.i.P.! Lol:lol:

I made a polite suggestion that you take it off your list, but you are violating rule 10 of this trading site. See link:

haha well, I guess you guys were right about children posting here. Just to clear it up, I have a total of 8/500 Titles that are "porn" which are listed at the very bottom of the page with big letters stating "adults only", its not like I had 500 porn titles and then 8 TV shows and then said "come on kids, give my your 12 spongebob disks and I'll give you 12 porn titles!". So i don't understand what the big deal is. I specifically put them at the bottom so that they wouldn't be noticed unless that something you were looking for. And Kiddies Watch Out ISN'T by any stretch of the imagination pornographic in anyway, it is a collection of classroom scare films that used to be SHOWN IN CLASSROOMS. But whatever, like I said I'm not here to debate, just to trade. I will handle all my trades through PM's now, sorry for any trouble
T-Greg 09-22-2006, 05:48 PM It doesn't matter if you have 1 or 100. When I look over a list, I usually look at the ENTIRE list. The fact that it's at the bottom doesn't mean it's hidden from the view of anyone under 18. BTW. Many adults here trade for animated and children's shows. It may be for them or for their kids, so don't assume that you can correctly guess someone's age by what is on their list. That's very naive.
Lex Luthor 09-22-2006, 05:54 PM Holy Roast the new guy Batman!
He was told of the rules and removed his list from public view. No longer violating any of the rules so why the witch hunt?
I have not seen the list but if it was as claimed with 8 movies listed at the bottom of 500 other titles it does not seem to me like Hugh Hefner has invaded.
There are many people here that have things on their list that violate rules (sales, retails,etc...) but it is kept off board and thus accepted.
He removed the list from the site and if he has items to trade and offer the forum then lets not burn him at the stake.
My 2 cents

I've posted the part of the list that bothered me the most (below). OK, maybe I was wrong to assume that it was some kind of illegal material, but it is still pretty disturbing. I think I've edited out the only swear word.
'KIDDIE'S BETTER WATCHOUT! VOL #1 - Totally Incredible, sick and twisted collection of education film rarities that YOU may have seen in the classroom as a kid. And if you did, is it any wonder kids started shooting up the joint? The piece-de-resistance here is the almost never seen 1964 classick THE CHILD MOLESTER which is the LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT of education films. If you've seen the amazing Documentary HELL'S HIGHWAY then you've heard of this lost film. Watch as various scumdogs lure little girls into their cars with candy and puppy's only to take them in the woods and hunt them like wild game, complete with lusting point of view shots! But worst of all is the final sting in the tail when the movie dissolves to actual crime scene footage of a couple of dismembered dead kids like the ones we have just watched being tormented. AND THEY SHOWED THIS TO KIDS! Also on this compilation is BOYS BEWARE, which shows how a pedophile will win the confidence of a young boy only to make a deal with him for sex. And when the dude gets caught the boy gets probation too! F*****-A! GIRLS BEWARE, which is essentially the same movie but from the girls point of view (the dimwit girl in this one is a hoot) and a couple of other SYD DAVIS productions on Stranger Danger. SYD was the Orson Well's of Classroom scare films and apparently was terrified of gay people, or at least seems to be if these movies are anything to go by!'

Okay I can see some of the concern, certainly something that does not fit in here.
However I still say that although there are some dvds that definately cross the line, if those are removed from public post then we should let it go.
I have never traded porn nor wish to but what is on someone's private list is their business as long as they do not violate the rules here. To each his own
Many people here have some of the "banned cartoons" which show war propaganda, racism, etc... Some people may find this more offensive than porn. I say give the new guy the benifit of the doubt that he did not come here to peddle porn or corrupt minors but actually to trade and build his collection.

I understand a lot of people collect things from when they were kids but not everyone does. Im over 18 and I have a wide variety of different shows from the Golden girls down to that 70's show. Shows dont always tell.
Lastdaysofrain 09-25-2006, 10:27 AM Kiddies Watch Out is just a compilation of classroom scare films. It's not a pro-pedo film or anything.
It's just like hiway scare films or sex ed films, I have it and find it entertaining and fascinating to watch how these things were presented to people decades ago.
You have nothing to be disturbed about.
