What are your favorite flavored soft drink combinations?

Mine are:
-Chocolate Coke from Sonic's Drive-In
-Grape Vanilla Sprite from Sonic's
-Vanilla Sprite from Sonic's
-Italian peppermint soda (more like seltzer water with peppermint flavoring)
-Cherry Sprite (just regular Sprite with cherry flavoring that I've seen at a local Target store)

I find the manually-made flavor combinations taste better than the manufactured ones. There's just something tasty and more appealing about them.

I would like to try some other combos from Sonic's, but these are the ones I've tried that I really like.

It sounds kinda gross but when i was younger 8-12. I used to love to mix Root Beer, and 7up. Tasted marvelous.

I actually don't much care for soft drinks.

lol I don't drink soda anymore... okay, that's a lie, I've been drinking 7Up but that's because I'm going to be sick for the next 6 weeks anyway, and 7Up makes me feel better.

Back when I used to drink soda... if we went to the Big Boy's here (YUM), I would order a Flying Pizza Burger, fries and a cup of cinnamon Coke - they would add cinnamon flavoring to it. It was actually very tasty. :)

And before they came out with Vanilla Coke in 2002 (do they still make 'em now? I don't notice this kind of thing anymore), I would add vanilla extract to my Coke...that, by far, was far tastier than the manufactured version of Vanilla Coke.

I think that all soft drinks taste like cough syrup. That is why I don't like them.

I haven't had many flavoured soft drinks, but I like cherry coke. And I've mixed coke and orange fanta together before.

Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke. Or the regular. Only diet soda I've had where it doesn't taste diet...the flavoring drowns it out. Yay!

Vanilla Pepsi was/is better than Vanilla Coke...which I don't think they make straight vanilla coke anymore.

I agree. Leave soda out of my milk and vice versa.

You know, in Italian soda, they mix soda flavoring/syrup with milk. And Italian soda is very popular around here... So even if I liked Coke (yuck), that really doesn't sound like a bad combo. But that's just me talking. It's a weird combination, though... Milk would taste better with something more sweet like 7Up or Sprite, I would think. Coke is bitter, so it wouldn't work too well.

Just make sure and mix the chocolate syrup into the Coke after you purchase it; otherwise, you will end up sucking up a lump of chocoate syrup in your straw. I had to find that out myself.

But, it's actually pretty good. It adds a bit of a new taste. Have you tried it yet?

Milk with the Italian soda? They do it differently at The Flying Star Café (http://www.flyingstarcafe.com/) (a local coffeehouse/restaurant). They just add the ice cubes, the seltzer soda, the flavoring, and they ask if you want it topped with whipped cream or not. So, I guess the whipped cream is the substitute for the milk? Who knows.

yes, it is. But be sure that the server doesn't put too much ice in it. Depending on how fast you drink, the ice will melt and make it bitter tasting.

Oh, then that won't be a problem then. I always ask for easy ice. I cannot stand when they give me tons of ice that waters down my drinks. Yuck. I'll keep this caramel Italian soda in mind when I go to Olive Garden. Perfect time for me to try it out. I've never eaten there before, and we have two locations.

Does cherry 7-Up count? Only thing I drink that sounds like what you guys are talking about. I don't mix things. It's the OCD in me. I can't even mix foods on the same plate. For example, the ham has to stay on one side, with the potatos on the other and the corn in another. There's a spot int he middle for ketchup. See my point? :p

I actually tried mashed potatoes and pepsi once. I was eating mashed potatoes and drank some pepsi at the same time. It tasted quite nice, actually.

Yeah, there are a million different variations of Italian soda. Italian sodas were pretty popular at the coffee shop I frequented when I was a high schooler, and their variation was milk, flavoring, soda water and ice. Pretty sure that's what it was... very tasty.

Mmmm...yeah, it still sounds delicious enough to attempt. Boy, I can't wait for payday on Friday to try the one at Olive Garden.
