I've been watching both Family Guy and American Dad and I'm wondering:

Is it me or does Seth MacFarlene, the creator of FG and AD have this huge obsession w/ this show?

I asked b/c on FG, he had Stewie scream (shudders) the theme song really loudly and then they often make references about this show.

And on last night's ep. of American Dad, Roger, the Aline makes another reference about the script related to Mr. Belvedere, but I forgot what it is.

Is it me or does Seth MacFarlene have an obsession w/ this show?

(imitating Stewie screaming the lyrics)
"STREAKS ON THE CHINA, NEVER MATTERED BEFORE, WHO CARED!
WHEN YOU DROP-KICKED YOUR JACKET, WHEN CAME THROUGH THE DOOR, NO ONE GLARED! ACCORDING TO OUR NEW ARRIVALS, LIFE IS MORE THAN MERE SURVIVAL! AND WE JUST MIGHT LIVE THE GOOD LIFE, YET! DUN-DA-LA-LA-LA-DUN-DUN-NA-NA-NA-NAAA!"

That was just hilarious! That never gets old!

The "American Dad" reference was hilarious too. It reminded of Sitcoms Online. LOL
