Even past 15 it was kind of getting annoying. I think up to 14 is a happy spot for me. I know some of you do over 50 disk trades, I can't imagine doing all of that. From now on I am sticking with smaller trades. I finished up 6 trades today and all together it was around 40 total which to me is a lot. Just about a whole spindle.
Depends what you use really. If using a computer I could imagine it would get very annoying. Duplicators take a lot les effort in my opinion

How long does a duplicator take?
Usually between 8 and 13 mins a disk. But I find I can just do other things while using it and all you do is put the disks in and they set themselves away with no buttons or anything to press.

That about what it takes on a PC, I don't really mind pusing buttons-lol
One of the main advatages of a duplicator is the dirc to disc copy, there's no swapping discs inbetween, you put your source disc in one drawer, your target disc in the other, and it does a direct copy, no need to save to a hard drive first.
A bad point is that if your disc is currupted in any way, then your duplicator is about as useful as chocolate fire guard. It won't do a successful copy, and you'll end up with a coaster, that's where pc software comes in handy.
Cheers,

hmm well after doing a tiny bit of research on them I think I might get one. They don't sound to expensive.

they are great. i just recieved one about a month ago and just sent off around 250 discs to a couple different traders that only took me about a week to burn. i barely even use my computer to copy discs now.

i actually got it from loren. it's a 3 target nec burner. it takes about 8 minutes per disc. i usually don't need the extra 2 on there but it is nice to have.
For me it was a bargain as I use a laptop for the internet and everything. 20 disk sets can be done with ease.

Okay, so what's a duplicator and how does it work? I take it you don't need to hook it up to your computer? And they copy DVDs? What about audio CDs? Is it just one machine you plug in and then you can copy any disc? Feel free to call me a dumbass if you want.

Sweet. Are there any recommended brands? Can I get one in a store or do I have to order it online?
