There's an article about Bob in the September 25th issue of the NE, now out on stands. Normally I don't read that rag, but he's on the bottom of the cover. The article reportedly comes from the autobiography that's being released this coming Tuesday, "I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This", and it's about his bad habit of smoking.

Funny, Bill Daily talked about the chain smoking habits of the other TBNS cast members, on the radio on Thursday when one of the DJ's prompted him to talk about Suzanne.

its weird when you think about certain celebrities smoking - sometimes it just seems so out of character for the characters that you are used to seeing them play

i hope Bob quits so he will be with us for a long time to come :)

My husband and I had that same reaction - both of us were stunned to think of Bob smoking.

Evidently he quit after he had a problem, years ago. This article reportedly came from sources regarding what's in Bob's book, "I Shouldn't Even Be Doing This," being released this Tuesday. I'm glad he quit.

There are a lot of closet smokers (not saying Bob was). People who realize that smoking isn't the greatest or most flattering habit. So they smoke discreetly, rarely smoking in public. Often close friends don't know these people smoke. My mother smoked for years, but generally only at night before she went to bed. I'm sure there were many, many people who had no idea she smoked.
