In "Smile, You're on Mars Camera," when the camera is first seen to have landed on the island, there is a very small hut in view that does not
seem to be one of the living huts or utility (cooking, e.g.) huts that
we are accustomed to seeing in the "camp" area. Does anyone know what this hut is for and have you seen it in other episodes? Thanks!!
P.S. Thank you to all of you who have taken time to respond to any of my
previous questions. I would still love to get some responses to these--so
please, if you get a chance to "re-watch" any of those episodes, I'd
greatly appreciate your input on some of my previous questions ("pancake
kiss," "MaryAnn's Problem," "Gilligan Angry with Professor," "silent words upda-
ter," "Gilligan's Top 2," "Gilligan and MaryAnn"), which, I believe, are
still on Thread 1. Thanks again!!!

The little hut that is seen by the camera is a small shelter or tool-shed at the edge of the lagoon----you can see it quite clearly in the first scene of the episode and then again when we first see where the mars probe landed.

I don't remember seeing it in any other episode.......I think the shelter where Gilligan was doing laundry in "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" was just a lean-to.
