man This is Awsome News that Amen is Coming Back to Broadcast Televison at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm and may I add The Last time I saw Amen on a Broadcast Channel was weekday's at 3:00 pm on WDSU TV

Well I asked because Eve and another shows will be joining TvOne next month.

Yet another good move on I's part. Now I have two channels to watch it on, I & TV One.

I remember it from I think later than 1997-1998. I defintely watched the show on BET and I'm pretty sure that had to be 2000-2001 at least.

So Amen only aired on BET for like a year and I bet that That TBS would have kept Amen if TBS did not air Amen weekday's at 5:30 am Central Time

I can't wait til AMEN comes back on TV, but I can't wait til 30 ROCK comes on NBC Wenesday nights!

BET from 1999-2001 and 227 ran from 1997-1999.

AMEN ran on TBS in Sept 1997 to November 1997 and then replaced with the Brady Bunch at 8:35am It returned back in 2002 February then left in March of 2003. TBS almost axed it again the second time. Coach came on at 6am and then AMEN afterwards. They were going to air back to back eps of Coach. I called TBS to complain and then next week the schedule had AMEN back on schedule up until the next year. I was happy.:)

I found one of my originals and it's definitely slower...I'm going to have to record one from TVOne to see...also I checked the tvintros website and it's slower on that one too! I guess if they need to shorten the show, better to speed up the theme song then cut parts of the show out, I guess??

I noticed the theme song right away, because I posted it on YouTube about 6 weeks ago and had watched it several times. It was bizarre.

The picture quality was kinda on the BLAH side. It wasn't what it was when it was on the network channel.

I didn't have a problem with my picture, mine was clear and fine. But the theme song was really off. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow afternoon.

Did anyone else notice on this pic from the i network that Cassietta is MIA?? They cropped her right out of the picture. I know she wasn't in the last season, but that's a bit harsh! :rant:

I also watched the marathon on Saturday night and thought, "the theme song sounds fast." I'm glad others noticed it as well.

Should someone contact the I network and let them know of their oversight? Also, I network has a message board for Amen...a few people who had NEVER seen it and wanted to know what it was about. I should send them over here to get an education! :lol:

Looks like AMEN is back on I/Ion/Pax. In my Directv listings, there's an ep on Feb 22 at 7:30pm.

Ion is useing Amen as a Filler at 9:30 pm Central time
