We all know that Eleanor had Jack's old room, and of course Jack's room was separate from the girls' room. But my question is, why did Eleanor have her own room, and Janet and Chrissy had to share a room? I've always wondered that. Did Eleanor have some sort of superiority? I mean, I know she did the cooking, but still...maybe they drew straws?? I guess that's just one of those unanswerable questions. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else ever thought about that.

I did. I assume that maybe it was just Eleanor and Janet and that Chrissy came along later.

I think what you said probably makes sense. Eleanor must've come first, and then Janet, and possibly Chrissy?

About Eleanor's baby- when she came back, she never mentioned the baby. She just said she was getting a divorce from her husband and that's all. But it was said she went into labor at her party in the pilot.
Also, in the epsiode where Eleanor returns, Jack acts like he had never met her, but didn't he meet her in the pilot the night of the party?

Not if Jack crashed the party, remember he didn't know Janet and Chrissy either. The girls found him in their tub, they didn't remember him at first and that was thanks to Chrissy's punch, lol.

and then in the episode where the newspaper reporter was writing about Jack, Janet, and Terri, Janet mentioned that Eleanor was pregnant again. So the only time it wasn't mentioned was when Eleanor was on the show. :lol:

The apartment only had two bedrooms, so if there were three girls, someone had to have a bedroom to their self. My guess for Janet and Chrissy sharing a room as opposed to Eleanor sharing a room with one of them is that Janet and Chrissy were closer. It would be interesting to know the real reason, but I guess we'll never find out.
