I am writing a complaint about the i Network's airings of Mama's Family. They are not showing Mama's Family with closed-captioning!!!

The series had closed-captioning on TBS and it is closed-captioned on DVD.

There is even a closed-caption LOGO at the beginning of the theme song but no captions!

I emailed "i" about this but have gotten NO response!

This is extremely frustrating!

Hi. Maybe it's your cable? I'll check again later sometime but when they had the marathon in August, there were captions on the over-the-air (Digital) broadcast (I have a digital set top box that I use now and then). You might be able to get the i channel with an antenna (and then check for captions.)

I'll see if they are still broadcasting with captions...in the meantime, attached is a PIC from the marathon (with captions).

Yes, MF on my "i" channel is captioned. It's definitely your cable provider- please talk to them about it. CC1 works fine for me.

what is The Diffrent between CC1 and CC2
Well, CC2 is traditionally open-caption (white text w/ black border around it instead of white text on a black background). CC1 is the one with the black background.
