hi im just wondering if any of you who have bought things on ebay have ever had a problem with pushy sellers im having a problem with one right now heres my side of the story . last friday i bought a paperback copy of a book called king of the night the life of johnny carson it cost me 6 dollars total well i used the buy it now thing and checked that i would send a money order for the book .i figured everything would be ok it was labor day weekend and i was going to take care of every thing on tuesday well i sent the money order to ca. from my home here in az. yesterday morning well today i got 2 emails from this seller wanting to know where her money was . i had just bought the book on friday night and since it was labor day weekend i was not going to go out in hevy traffic just to get a money order that i couldnt even mail until tuesday this woman demanded that i take care of this at once as she was going out of town well its a 6 dollar book i can wait until she gets back its no big deal to me one way or the other so i sent her a somewhat curt email that basiclly told her that i sent it yesterday and that i had nothing to do with the fact that it was labor day or that it takes time for money orders to get from az. to ca. and that she would get her money when it came and no sooner. i almost said something about the fact that im not superman and cant fly to ca to give her her f;;ing 6 dollars but i didnt a little while ago i got another email and she is still not happy with the fact that she didnt get her money today and that she is not going out of town tommrow as she stated in her first eail but that she is leaveing friday annd that if it dosent get here by then iwill have to wain uitil she returns. like i said before its a 6 dollar book i really dont care about waiting for it im sure she will send it when she returns. .i find it funny that she thinks i or anybody really cares that much about the fact that she is going out of town .what im wondering is have any of you ever dealt with a pushy or werid seller on ebay like the one ive just discribed? she is the oddest seller i have ever bought from

Wow, that really sucks, Donald. I have never dealt with pushy sellers myself (more like the ones who never sent me anything), but I do think yours was being a bit irrational. If it's Labor Day weekend, she has to expect that the postal system will be a bit slowed, so by you waiting to send it, you were just doing something that made sense. I mean, is she really that eager for $6?

I think you handled it well :)

Can you complain to Ebay? If so, I would ASAP. That is not right. What a bitch.

I purchased used books from Amazon. Never had a problem.

wtf....people are supposed to give you time (most give buyers 7 days). The USPS isn't exactly at her beck and call. I'd complain to ebay. Then after the transaction is over, wait to see if she leaves you feedback first before you leave her any. She sounds like one of those irrational people who would leave you negative feedback.

Lol kinda funny, for some odd reason reminds me of the line in the 1961 Universal Comedy Classic Tammy Tell Me True.

When Tammy is mailing a letter to Pete. And she asks the guy at the post office "what's the fastest way to get this to my pete" and he says "air mail miss, we are yet to switch to rockets" lol
