In "Nyet, Nyet--Not Yet," the opening scene shows Gilligan annoyed with
the Skipper's snoring. Gilligan also looks upward and silently mouths some
words. Can you tell what he is saying? Thanks.

To me it didn't look like he was saying anything, just making a face of annoyance

There were words deleted on the DVD. I noticed it when I first saw it. I remembered Gilligan commenting on the Skipper's snoring when this episode aired in syndication. As I recall, his exact words were, "Sounds like a jet plane with asthma." I couldn't understand why that particular comment would've been deleted, since it's not the least bit offensive.

Perhaps it was deleted unintentionally.

On my DVD it's the exact opposite. The Skipper's snoring is silent, to the point that it's not even clear at first what's bothering Gilligan-----but Gilligan saying "like a jet plane with asthma" is loud and clear.

When I've seen this episode in syndication both the snoring and Gilligan have been plain.

Maybe people with asthma found it offensive so it was cut later ????????

I still have to check my set which I bought on the day it went onsale, but I'm guessing that Warner Bros. may have received complaints from people who may have been "offended" by the asthma reference on the initial DVD pressing, and made the change to subsequent pressings...

opinions?

I can hear everything, the snoring and "like a jet plane with asthma"! I bought my copy a week or so after it came out.
