LOL-Just joking, TV LAND aired the two set up eps for Checking In last Night and was wondering if anyone caught it? Part 2 didn't take place in the Jeffersons Apt at all. It was called Florence New Job Part 1 and 2. I liked both Parts

I recorded it to DVD, I'll get around to it sometime in the next year(lol). I've got about 40 episodes from the overnight while I was sleeping I missed(or will miss tonight) and will start watching tomorrow, but first I am going to edit the DVD's and move the chapter markers around so when I watch I can skip the commericals.

If I remember correctly Louise doesn't appear in pt 2 (at least not in what I saw in syndication). That would be the only episode that either she or George wasn't in.

With what is it four episodes? they should combine them without the titles and make a movie out of it. All it would be would be the episodes combined and they could call it Florences Further Adventures or something. It would only be two hours. This has been done before with Dusty's Trail, they used four episodes, took out the credits on each half our and retitled it the Wackiest Wagon Train in the West. Your Show of Shows did a similar thing. Those aired in theaters like that so obviously Checking In coulnd't but still, you get the idea.

George appeared in Part 2 because he showed up at Florence's job trying to get the cleaning contract. But Not Louise and you are right that was the only Jeffersons episode that Louise didn't appear in

They should have done this Sunday night:

3:00AM The Jeffersons: Florence's New Job (1)
3:30AM The Jeffersons: Florence's New Job (2)
4:00AM Checking In
4:30AM Checking In
5:00AM Checking In
5:30AM Checking In

That would not have hurt to do. They will be airing The Ropers/Three's a Crowd in the 3-6a slots during the Three's Company marathon Sept. 16-17, so they could have done this at least for The Jeffersons. Even in the What's Happening!! marathon they aired What's Happening Now!! from 3-6a both nights.

Believe me, that would be very easy for them to get. Cheap stuff since it is less than 13 episodes (in this case just 4).

O/T: Solomon, do you like the short lived 90s sitcom On Our Own?

"In The Chips" Episode #229 in 1984 is credited as the only episode that Isabel Sanford didn't appear in. "Florence's New Job" orignally aired as a one-hour episode, so even though Isabel may not have been in the second part, she was still in the "episode".

Isabel Sanford is in that episode. Tvtome got that info wrong. She's in the first scene along with Helen and Mr Bentley. She and Helen go into the bedroom about 5 minutes into the episode and are never seen again. The rest of that show focuses on George, Garrett Morris, Hugo and Florence.
