this kid in my class says to wear silk, so a bullet cant go through it if ur like..in war.. is that true?? my teachers like fine ill wear a 'silk' tie tomorrow lol

Honestly, I don't think that is true. A bullet is too fast. It would go through silk.

No, that is not true. A bullet CAN go through silk. The person was either misinformed or was pulling your leg.

Actually, a bullet can go through steel... I think. So silk would never protect you. What we need are a few billion bullet proof vests!
