They only have 72 hours, they can't air EVERY episode. There are just over 100 that will not be aired during the marathon.

True, they can't air every episode, but they didn't have to air the ones they have already shown.

I will bet my RENT for October and November that TV LAND skips the episode when George gets stabbed in the alley-lol

I agree with this. They also are airing 3 episodes twice within the marathon(the first episode already and two tomorrow). They aren't perfect. Their late night schedule is freaking annoying. What is the point of starting episodes late?

You probably will be right. I don't think TV Land will ever air that episode. I saw it once about 6-7 years ago on my local station(I think).

What is the episode title for that? I will check if they will air it. They have aired about 3-4 episodes in this marathon that they have never aired before.

The one Solomon is talking about is the two-parter "The Strays" from Season 8 I think. It's not airing during the marathon, I know that for sure.

Now, this is very far away, but they will be airing that 2-parter (#175/176) during the Thursday marathon on Oct. 26 (last two episodes approx. 2:55am and 3:30am) and again on Friday, Oct 27 at 1:30pm and 9:30pm. Subject to change of course.
They have aired this before, because it doesn't have a "premiere" next to it.

Episodes through October that they have never aired: 190 (in marathon), 117, 177, 178.

I have to say that I have really been enjoying this marathon. It has been so cool to be able to just turn my TV on and know that Weasy and George would be on to make me laugh. The Jeffersons is one of my favorite shows and it has been great these last few days to be able to see so many episodes that I have not yet seen.

Obviously, I have not been watching 72 hours straight, but all my down time has been devoted to watching this show. I think I am going to buy the DVDs because I havenot been laughing this hard in a long time. This show rocks!

Weasy is my favorite! She is just so funny. Isabel Sanford is kind of overly-dramatic, but it makes her character even funnier.

Quick question, through October, what episodes, if any, are they skipping? I noticed they are airing the Christmas 1977 episode late on Thursday September 14th at 2:20am and again the next day at 7pm, so are they showing the other Christmas episodes beyond that?(1978, 1980, 1981). Just wondering.

Brent the only Christmas eps you need to be concerned about are the ones from 1979-1985-lol The 1977 and 78 Christmas ep is on DVD

Well the reason I'm wondering is I went out with the schedule(using the episode guide and TV Land's current schedule) to that date, with them skipping those 3 Christmas episodes and came up 3 episodes behind where it's scheduled to be, so they must skip 3 others somewhere OR I have been looking at this too long.

Don't ask why I did that. :p

What got me on this marathon was the time. The episodes in some sections of the marathon didn't literally start until either 10 after the half hour or 15 minutes after the scheduled time --- SOOOO, I went to TV the episode where George and Tom compete in a marathon...only about 15 minutes of it until it cut off (w/ cuts and commercials).

They are just sneaky and want to add 30 more of commercials during late night. In other words, instead of 24 hours of programming, we are getting 23 1/2 hours. Runtimes are all messed up from about 9p-6a, and especially 12-4am. So, use VCR's to record during those times, lol. TiVo is useless during the hours.

Yeah... same here. I actually thought they were going to start the overnights on time Saturday, but then when Primetime came and the episodes started to get gradually thrown off that's when I had to change the timers a bit. It was no big deal once I figured it out, but I wish they hadn't done it.
