i dont get it? they USED to do marathons in order and used to play as many as they could over a weekend, NOW they repeat eps over and over all out of order?

Ok, the guide says at 7pm my time (PST) that A FRIEND IN NEED will be aired. Wasn't that last night? I fell asleep so I figured they showed that episode already.

TVLAND makes dumb choices all the time now

LATE NIGHT ---- is a mess
SHOWS NEVER START OR END ON TIME---- its impossible to Tivo anything
and they skip eps all out or order and then BURY New shows in awful time slots

What they really should have done is show all the eps from season 6 and after since those eps are not on DVD

I liked TVLAND much better 10 years ago

back then they showed GOOD television
and made an effort to show stuff NOT SEEN in years

(nick at nite did it too)
but now, they are bigger and profits are higher
and they stick to SAFE shows that we all have seen 100X

i mean, you are not likely to see really rare shows on their anymore, because the ratings would suffer

The first time they showed it when Jeffersons debuted on Tvland...once last night...and at 7pm today. That will be 3 times. I don't even know how many times more they plan on showing it til Tuesday...:eek:

yeah, but its fun to watch anyways. :)

as for the repeats, they can show any individual episode as many times as they want in a 24 hour period, and it only counts as 1 airing - saves them money.

During the Benson marathon there were a few episodes they showed 3 times as well.
