ok..theres this person email people saying they have this and that and wanting u to send 1st..they claim they have webster complete and diff..strokes complete..why im saying this is me and another person on this board was contacted by them for a trade..well i contacted the other person to see what they was about...the other person said he told them that he had diff..strokes complete..we'll he had emailed me wanting to trade for season 3 of my diff,,strokes and ask me did i have more..then they wanted me to send 1st..LETS BE REAL HOW MANY PEOPLE YOU KNOW HAS WEBSTER COMPLETE ON DVD THATS A 8.5 TO 9...I THINK ITS A PERSON ON HERE (NEWBIE)THAT WE ALL BEEN HAVING OUR DOUTS ABOUT....HERES THE INFO....

Yep that is his name. Im just hoping and praying that I do get the set. He wanted me to send first but I told him since I've never tradded with him before that he should be the one to send first. So if I do actually get this set I'll let everyone know.

Well the address isn't an exact match for any known traders.

I can say that Maples for example did tell me she had Webster awhile back, and she did have people send to Florida.

And as well as Lamont pointed out a newbie trader also recently had Webster, but they were based out of California.

Doesn't mean anything tho.

When in doubt have them send first, even if its 1-2 discs
Or have them send to a third party you will also send to
and have the third party send to both, when both are received.
I have done this more times than I can count

The fact is, this user that contacted you both, hasn't made you aware that they are ON sitcoms.
only contacted you THROUGH sitcoms.

SO what is the chance a user happened to want to trade 2 peopel from here, but won't / hasn't joined
And why.

And why, are they asking you to send first- when they contacted you-
have no repuitation have no user name and use a free aol account.
What security do you have at all.

The person was kept I assuming that I was gonna send first but I kept saying I wanted them to send first. In every emal just about he was like so your gonna send first then right?

So we have 4 different users from here.

All contacted by the same AOL emial contact

He wants all of you to send first- even though he contacted you all-
respectible traders, long term traders from a respected site that is moderated by an owner nad moderators.

He happens to have 2 series, no one has had-
isn't part of a trading community

Sure that doesn't seem suspicious at all.

If he has written all of you, I wonder who else they have written.

And how soon before I get an email from someone saying 'Hey savage i sent first to this guy...and got nothing"

when he finds out u are on to him he want return no more emails so yes i would say 99.5 this is a scammer at work..my advise to anyone from this board do not send 1st to no one that is a newbie or a stranger,only trust the ones that is been around for awhile..just some friendly advice,,

I told him to send first then he emailed me back and said ok I'll send when I receive yours. I emailed him again and said NO you send first. This was the reply I got...

i do trades A LOT! and with a bunch of new people too

ive found that all honest newbies will send first! if they wont, they do not plan on sending anything PERIOD!

this guy seems like pure scam city and thats a real shame!!!!:(

LOL_that person emailed me today but I had no intentions on mailing first since he/she contacted me for a trade.

I think the fact that they have asked EVERYONE to send first
have not replied to this thread at all to defend themselves and cannot provide any references

makes it obvious
